Since Michael Robson was a member of the Terminal Club of Vancouver, John and Marian made arrangements to for the reunion attendees to have supper in one of the club’s banquet halls.
When we arrived the tables were set. The time prior to supper provided an excellent chance to mingle and meet some relatives who had not attended previous reunions. John and Marian hosted the evening and in the rightmost photograph Marion is proposing a toast.
The attendees made good use of the mingling time to renew old friendships and make new ones.
During the mingling hour everyone had the opportunity to meet those who had not attended previous reunions and catch up on the latest news from old friends.
Supper was a sumptuous buffet. There were a wide variety of salads and sides to complement the fish, poultry and beef entries.
The delicious dinner provided us with another opportunity for us to get to know each other better.
All of the participants agreed that the delicious dinner had provided a wonderful opportunity for the Hooge clan to get to know each other better and were very grateful to Dr John Hooge and Marian Hooge-Robson for hosting the event.
